Operations Director (Volunteer Role)
The Operations Director is a collaborative team player who plays a critical role in managing the day-to-day operations of the DMV Destroyers, ensuring a smooth and efficient program. As an integral part of our mission-driven team, this individual makes an immediate impact by overseeing logistics, coordinating team activities, and supporting the coaching staff to maintain a positive and organized environment for players, families, and coaches.

This individual makes an immediate impact by identifying, securing, and overseeing grants that support our programs and operations. Working closely with leadership, external funding agencies, and community partners, the Grant Director helps ensure that young athletes have the resources they need to thrive.

• Prepare, write, tailor, and submit compelling grant proposals that communicate the team’s needs, objectives, and impact.
• Oversee the tracking and management of awarded grants, ensuring compliance and proper fund utilization.
• Cultivate relationships with grantors, sponsors, and community partners, effectively sharing the team’s vision and successes to encourage ongoing support.
• Ensure all necessary documentation is in place for grant applications, reporting, and audits.
• Act as an ambassador for the DMV Destroyers by promoting our mission, values, and achievements to the broader community and potential funding partners.
